In a rapidly evolving world, how do we design for tomorrow? This speech unveils a true story of an outsourcing design team's collaboration with Europe's biggest sportswear manufacturer. Together, we embarked on a journey to bring a research-based approach to the forefront of the design process for a flagship B2B product.
I will delve into how we championed the prioritization of users’ needs, set realistic targets, fostered diverse collaboration, and trusted the method. Through the lens of an Enterprise Design Sprint, I'll share how we tackled challenges with user research, leading to a more collaborative and future-focused approach to product development. This experience not only secured a backlog for many months ahead but also illuminated a path for designing products that resonate with the needs of tomorrow.

Add To The List
This initiative was started by Randstad UX for the R'UX Network & Community. It escalated quickly and we spread beyond the Randstad. Because there are very important topics in this awareness week, we thought it would be better to reskin the portal without our own branding, and only add our logos to the events we organise ourselves.
To make this initiative work for as many important voices as possible, we decided to also list other relevant events around the topics and themes of Design for Tomorrow. If you are organising relevant events, please feel free to add them to the list. That way more people can hear about ethics, sustainability, human centered and human centric design and every other important topic in the design world today.
