“A community of women in UX who support each other, push the UX boundaries, and promote skill and talent”
SUMMARY
Each city runs slightly different events, and each group decides what they want to get out of their get-togethers. Sometimes there’s a speaker or a theme, sometimes we just eat, drink, and see where the conversation goes. The one thing we can guarantee is that you won’t feel pressurised to present. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and if you want help with a particular UX challenge, you’ll find plenty of willing problem-solvers.
TALKS ABOUT

ABOUT
Ladies that UX is leading an international movement, with chapters in over +85 cities worldwide, that empowers women to achieve their full potential.
Their community is inclusive to all background, gender, age, race and expertise. Local chapters organise events across the globe, so no matter where you are, you can be sure to find them in your hood.
OUR COLLABORATION
Design inFocus was founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands where we are also the most connected. We have interacted with the Dutch chapters of Ladies that UX in Amsterdam & Utrecht. To demonstrate the potential of networks & communities and using our platform, we created our first flagship network RANDSTAD UX (R'UX) and have started collaborating within our industry.
Through Design in Focus, we created an experience page with the Utrecht chapter leader, Kimberly Snoyl and in January 2023 we collaborated with the Amsterdam chapter leader Claudia Muller for an interactive discussion event entitled Design for Good : AI & Ethics which was hosted at PwC Experience center in Amsterdam.
